New Sound System

Hello,

Okay so I am looking for a new sound system for my room. Preferably I would like surround sound and speakers st the corners of the Room. I have had a look at some home cinema systems but ether they are too much money or don't do what I would like, they will be connected to my PC. I have a flexible budget of £300 but really don't want to compromise quality. Any help is appreciated.

So want quality but don't want to spend a lot. lol. What do the home cinema's "don't do what you like" ?

Why do you want surround, gaming, movies?

Really I'm just not sure how it all works preferably I would like a speaker system that I can connect to my computer to game and play music. Surround sound just sounds good but if it's not as practical then I'm not bothered. Funding is not a problem.
