New SSD. A simple question

So I wanna pick an SSD for my PC since the bootup is very slow. I want this particular SSD from Amazon:

I have the ASROCK H61M-VG4 motherboard. I opened the manual and read that it has 4 SATA2 connectors. Does this mean that I can't connect this specific SSD on my motherboard? If not, what other choice do I have? I would really appreciate your help!

It will work fine. Sata connectors are backwards compatible.

SATA is backwards/forwards compatible. That SSD will work with your mobo, it will just be limited to SATA 2 speeds.

Hmm ok, but lets say that this SSD reads up to 530MB/s, does this mean that it gets halved? If yes, is it still worth the upgrade from a simple HDD( in terms of speed)

It will connect.
It won't be as fast as in a SATA III port.
It will still be a lot faster than an HDD.
I wouldn't bother buying a 120GB drive. Look towards a 250GB.
