So I got a new Samsung 256 GB SSD, and when I check it's health, it was 98%. Should I get it exchanged? Or should I just use it since it shows excellent condition. I have 1-year warranty on the product.

No, it is new(or at least that's what the seller told me). I checked other trusted online shops in my country and found out they also have 1-year warranty on Samsung SSDs.

I would not be concerned about the 98% as the drive still has many many years left in it.
I would not say it is new though. Probably a return being or demo being sold as new.

Does Samsung allow you to register your SSD in your country? Check the drive's paperwork.

I have also the same issue with same device ....whats wrong with it
Hey man! So basically I did what popatim said and it turned out he was right.
The SSD wasn't "used" but it wasn't exactly new either. A brand new SSD should have 100% health ( a friend told me).
I ended up returning the SSD and getting a new one from a better store.

As for you, like popatim said, 98% is not really an issue and it will run great for a long time. But it means that it is not in new condition. In the end it's your choice whether you want to keep using it or get it replaced :)
