Question New SSD install. Computer restarts and monitor is black??

I literally plugged in a Samsung 970 and now my comp just continually reboots.

I removed the 970, same thing reboots.

I can’t get to bios, I’ve tried different connections for my video card and nothing.

I’m stuck, please help.

Yep removed battery and did the jumper.

For some reason the red cpu light is on. Even after removing cpu and checking pins.

Makes no sense that unhooking everything and plugging back in tanked the pc

Just to note; before i unplugged the computer and tried the SSD install, everything worked like a champ.

Oh and when booting the CPU light remains lit, but the DRAM light flashes a few times? should i just plug in one RAM stick in slot 2 and try?

Still doesn't answer the CPU light though.

If you have Windows on the Crucial MX500 SSD, have you tried moving it to the other M.2 socket?

I did move it.

Come to find out one of my RAM sticks had just barely popped out at the bottom. I didnt notice it until I was going to troubleshoot with one RAM stick at a time.

Feel like an idiot. but it happens
