So I just bought an ssd(SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB). My current system has two HDD. I have a 250gb HDD and a 1.5TB HDD. I Have windows on the 250gb HDD because its a faster HDD (WD VelociRaptor) boot up is about 30-40seconds, Im fine with the boot up being that way sense I only restart my pc about 2-3 times a week give or take. I wanted an SSD to install games I play the most on to boot up faster, as it takes a while and would enjoy it to be faster. Should I just install games only to the SSD or should i copy everything from my 250 HDD and put into the ssd (I have games I mainly play on the 250 sense again it is faster). If I do this however how would I go about doing it without losing any files.

Solution
Clone (not copy) the 250 GB HDD to the new SSD.

If it is important to you to have your games load faster (and they won't fit on the SSD), save up for a 2nd SSD.

Solution
I use an ssd for everything on my computer except my back ups. I use one of the hdd just for automatic backups. I play several games like call of duty, etc, and it works fine this way.
