I acquired a barely used SSD from an unused work PC (WD Blue 1TB, less than 200GB written) and installed it in my PC while it was on so I could see its partitions and whatnot through Disk Manager. Deleted all the partitions and formatted the drive so it’s a clean slate. Do a restart and PC stops at the mobo splash screen, won’t even let me get into BIOS. As soon as I unplug the new SSD, it resumes booting normally. Now when I plug the SSD in when Windows is up, it doesn’t even show up in Disk Manager. Anyone have any ideas?
