New SSD not detected in bios

hi all, was looking for a little help, i bought a new ssd and i cant find it in bios, but i can see it in disk management and in "my computer" am i missing something?

In disk managment, is the SSD unallocated space? If so a quick format of the drive should take care of it and windows will then recognize it.

did you happen to format with GPT vs MBR? or is this fresh out of the box?

Well, if the SSD is listed in Disk Management the system has obviously detected its presence. Did you notice whether a drive letter assignment had been made to the drive? If not, right-click on the listing and select the option "Change Drive Letter and Paths" and assign a drive letter.
