New ssd old hdd, help please.

Recently built a new pc, i have windows on my new ssd, id like to access my files from my old hdd, it shows up in the my computer but cant go through the hdd to view the music etc. I want to keep them and not format my old hdd, what do i do? Please help!

So long as your booting to your SSD, you should be able to have access to files on the old HDD.
Are you configured correctly in Bios for priority.?
An issue can arise if the HDD is from another PC or the files are from another user account in which case you would have to reclaim ownership of the files.
