So I recently have been entrusted with an old 760GMA-P34 (FX) system to repair.
I swapped out the old HDD and put in a brand new Western Digital Blue 500gb SSD.
I managed to get windows installed and it worked for the most part but after I reset the system,
It will not Boot from the SSD unless I force it to boot from the SSD via Boot Menu.
It just kinda shows the Mobo splash screen then hangs at a black screen with the flashing underscore.
Furthermore, the PC stopped booting from my USB that I use to install windows.
I still can access the Bios screen but it seems no matter what I do, I am not making any progress. I restored to both
Optimized and Failsafe defaults. I'm at a total loss!

System Specs
CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: GTX 960
RAM:8gb of Kingston Hyper X Red RAM (DDR3)
MOBO: 760GMA-P34 (FX)

Solution
I can't access windows so there is no way for me to provide a screencap. After rebooting that one singular time, I have noot been able to boot to either the SSD or to the USB for a reinstallation attempt.
Power off.
Disconnect all drives except the USB to install with and the SSD.

Power on.
Boot up.
Verify the boot order.
Does it boot from the Win 10 USB?
If so, redo the install.

As for Only drive physically connected, no I have a 1TB Barracuda Mechanical drive also
which was also present during installation, along with the San Disk USB for Windows
and a DVD Optical Drive.
Please show us a screencap of the Disk Management window.

Generally, what happens with more than one drive physically connected, the boot partition ends up on the other drive.
Nothing you selected or can prevent, it just does it.

Leading to issues and confusion.

Solution
Yeah, this is all just starting to irritate me now.
After disconnecting the HDD, I was able to reinstall
W10. So it boots up now. I have another issue. For some reason
it is taking an abnormal amount of time for the PC to post.
And the display will have no signal. After about 20+sec the PC will post
and startup will continue. Any idea why this happens?

Edit: Nevermind, it's booting normally now.
