New SSD only works as an external device.

I just bought a 4TB Samsung 860 Evo. My experience with SSDs and partitions is very limited, and my disk management will not give me any options to work with the new SSD. It will give me a single partition of half the SSD's storage, but I have no options to edit this partition, and it will not register in This PC. However, I can use the full storage capacity when my device is plugged in as an external drive. I just need help using this drive as an internal drive.

I will include some screenshots of what I see, the SSD in question is marked Disk2.

Thank you for any advice.

Thank you very much. I had tried another program, and that was not getting any results. I appreciate your help!

Does anyone have a solution for this for macOS 10.13.6?

I have been experiencing the same issue on my mid 2012 macbook pro. I tried cloning my 500gb Samsung 850 EVO to a new 1TB Samsung 860 Pro. I received osstatus error 22 when attempting the cloning process on disk utility. I then tried cloning through Carbon Copy Cloner, which seemingly worked at first because I was able to run the OS on the new SSD externally, but after installing the new SSD I received the "slashed circle" emblem instead of the apple logo upon start-up. My macbook was stuck at this stage and would not start up.
