[SOLVED] New SSD or New Peripherals

Hello! Black Friday sales are upon us and I need help figuring out what to purchase (and what to add to my xmas list). Long story short, my main hard drive died, and I figured it was about time to get a NVME SSD, but I also notice my headphones always seem to die due to the cable, and my mouse and keyboard could use updating. I've been doing some looking, and I noticed that the Samsung 970 Evo Plus and the SteelSeries Wireless Bundle are both on sale, both of which interest me. I can probably afford one, and ask for the other for Christmas, but I am also open to other alternatives. My reasons for each item are as follows:

Samsung 970 Evo Plus:

• I'm in need of a new storage device
• It's really fast
• My boot SSD is crappy
• My 1Tb HDD is making odd noises every couple of days or so
• Reviews seem very positive

My concerns are that people say it runs really hot, and the airflow in my case isn't amazing (I can throw another fan in there, I just need another cable splitter) and that the 2 M.2 slots I have are 4.0 and 3.0 and if I get a 4.0 later I will be moving this one to directly underneath the GPU so it won't get very good airflow.

SteelSeries Bundle:

• Replace my crappy dell keyboard, wired onikuma headset, and wired chinese(?) mouse
• Headsets always die due to shorts in the cable, my last one didn't even last a full year
• Mouse cable is very stiff, leading to it falling off the desk and dragging my mouse around
• Keyboard comes with a wrist rest
• Reviews seem very positive

My concerns are that the SteelSeries might not be the best quality and that there might be a better alternative bundle out there.

If anyone has any suggestions for alternatives, it would be much appreciated. Also if this is the wrong area to post this, please let me know.

I honestly don't know about the steelseries bundle but considering the price shown in bestbuy, you can buy the steelseries bundle for now as it's cheaper and then ask for the 970 evo at Christmas.
