Question New SSD plugged in, old SSD not recognized, neither is new

Bought a new SSD, plugged it in and booted, screen went black and white with text scrolling then continued to reboot after some time. Pc booted into my old HDD with windows 7, neither ssd is showing up in the bios or disk management now.
Any help please? Let me know if you need more info.

Did the PSU break the SSD or the wire you are using is broken or tampered?

Gigabyte z370 Aorus 7
8x4 Corsair vengeance
WD Black 2Tb, Windows 7
Evga 1080ti
Corsair 750 80+ gold semi modular
Thermal take The Tower900
Windows 10 on old ssd to boot
Old SSD was a Samsung evo 840 250gb
New SSD is a Samsung evo 860 1tb

Psu is nearly half a decade I believe or a little over half a decade

Neither ssd is recognized anymore, the 860 didn’t get recognized in the first place after windows went through scrolling text screen

I don’t believe so, I’ll try updating it later today when I get off work

Did the PSU break the SSD or the wire you are using is broken or tampered?

I’ve tried numerous sata cables that I have, even the one that currently runs the hdd with no issues
Not sure on the psu

Is new or old SSD - M.2 form factor?
Using sata M.2 in M2M_32G slot, disables SATA4 and SATA5 slots.
Using sata M.2 in M2A_32G slot, disables SATA0 slot.
Sata M.2 drive can not be used in M2P_32G slot.
