Question New SSD Storage Drives Not Recognized

I just installed a cloned SSD in my desktop. I have two existing storage drives that are no longer being recognized by Windows 7. The one drive appears briefly in My Computer just after boot but then the icon disappears and shows up as 'uninitialized' in disk management. The other disk doesn't show up at all.
The disks are both still functioning as I have attached a USB/SATA adapter and all of the folders are still present and accessible this way.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Were either of these "storage drives" ever used as boot devices for your earlier Win7 installation?

No, they have both only been used for storage
