Question New SSD turned to a recovery partition??

I’ve recently got a 2tb ssd (my second ssd) it’s popping up but not as it’s own drive but instead it’s a recovery partition on my previous ssd. I’m not sure how to make it into its own drive so I can download things to it.
its doesn't even say unallocated.
i would put a pic of it but idk how to upload it

It's not popping up at all. The recovery partition is on the one drive that's popping up.

Next step would be to try another cable (if it's a SATA drive) or attempt to reseat it if it's an NVMe.

What is model name of this new drive?
Is it sata 2.5" or sata M.2 or NVME drive?
Also - what is model name of your motherboard? You can find it with CPU-Z - motherboard section.

Delete storage pool - in Windows Storage Spaces.
And your new drive should appear in Disk Management after that.
