New SSD unallocated space

I just installed a new 120GB SSD into my computer, but when I look into my the "My computer folder" I cannot find the SSD anywhere on there. The only thing I have been able to find is that it is saying its unallocated. I found this by going into My Computer -> Manage -> Storage -> disk management. I really need this space so, what do I need to do in order to save on it and view it. Essentially unallocated the space?
