Hi, just bought a new SSD to upgrade my laptop. Installed windows 10 on it but now my laptop won't even turn on unless the mains charger is plugged in. The battery is stuck on 66% permanently it is saying but the battery is definitely not faulty since it was working perfectly fine yesterday before i took out the old HDD.
The laptop came with windows 8 pre installed which was then upgraded to 8.1 shortly after when Microsoft rolled out the update. The laptop itself is totally Windows 10 compatible and its functioning perfectly fine as it does on my Windows 10 desktop.
I've tried uninstalling everything under the battery drop down on the device manager but to no avail.
Any help is much appreciated thanks.
