[SOLVED] New Surface Laptop randomly disconnects from Thunderbolt 3 monitor ?

Hi all,

I've had great luck in getting help from this forum in the past and now I have run into an issue with my wife's new laptop.

She's running a new Surface Laptop with a Snapdragon Processor. She connects it to a Samsung C34J791WTN Monitor through the Thunderbolt 3 port. She also has a USB keyboard connected through the monitor.

Well, the monitor will randomly disconnect for a while, then reconnect. She does charge her laptop from the monitor directly, so I'm wondering if it's related to power? Not really sure where to look as a starting point, but any advice, or questions about the failure to help pinpoint the issue would be appreciated!
