Hello all,
I just built my first computer ever. Seemed to be going well. Everything carefully put in place...and i pressed the power button.
Nervously I watched the monitor. Power on. Was looking at BIOS. And I saw my "cool" computer slowly heating up. 45...50...60...75?...84??? over about 10 minutes.
My waterblock and tubes at the processor were hot to touch. The water reservoir was cold. All fans were spinning...except for the water pump was still and silent.
I tried powering the pump at different pins. Still NO movement.
Newegg costumer service told me to try contacting Swifttech? I have called all their numbers. A robot sounding voice mumbles and it hangs up instantly. I have emailed their tech help with no response. I have asked on their message board to no response.
Do I have a bad pump? Is this an easy fix? I would really like to get my computer going but I really don't want to do it at 84C.
Any advice or thoughts welcome!
