Total price *without shipping, includes windows ultimate 64bit, and some extra fans for tower that I didn't list* $3,337.42

This is pretty much what I'm gonna be getting. I've done some research, and want to make sure I don't miss anything.. Like known problems, good-poor support, and things of that nature.

If you don't like say a manufacturer as I've learned from previous exp. does play a part in things please say so, and why. One last thing which I still haven't decided on is the sound system. I can't really do a 5.1 like I wanted as I just simply don't have the room for it, and it'd be sort of pointless while living in the barracks. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Also I'm gonna be overclocking.. I want to get the cpu up to at least 3-3.5ghz which I'm completely new at, so any advice on the hs or tower would be appreciated.

Wow I wish I had that kind of money.

Ok so first off, DO NOT GET THAT SEAGATE DRIVE. They are awful, fail all the time. Go for the WD1001FALS or Samsung Spinpoint 1TB instead

The PSU you chose is a nice one, but in an awkward spot for your GPU and is overpriced. For only 1 GTX 295, a Corsair 750tx would be fine for your system. If you think you will be getting another GTX 295 later for SLI, then I would get a Corsair 100HX PSU instead, the 850w PSU won't be enough for a second one.

That cooler you chose is a very effective cooler, but it wieghs a TON. I wouldn't want to put that kind of strain on my MB, and since the OC you are going for isn't that high (comparatively speaking) I would get this cooler intead, which cools very similarly to the V10, but is lighter and cheaper:

12GB of ram is a waste. Get 6GB of really good ram:

I prefer the board layout of the P6T Deluxe V2 to the Rampage because for SLI, it has better spacing of the PCIEx16 slots for better GPU cooling. I think the Rampage II Extreme is a waste of money to be honest. For the OC you are looking at, even the P6T non-deluxe board would be fine, if you want that really good audio chipset then you can buy a discrete sound card, but honestly the sound on the P6T is pretty darn good, and unless you are running a surround sound system its not necessary to get an extra sound card IMO.

Your other choices are good, the case is fairly spendy, but if that is what you like then go for it. Some other good options would be the Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 and S, Coolermaster Haf, Coolermaster Storm Sniper, Antec 1200, Antec 902, Thermaltake Armour+
