Would like to clarify that I'm still a noob in understanding more advanced stuff.
I'm building my first PC but am still budgeting and finding the parts I'm gonna use. Currently going for an under 2k (AUD) mATX build. However I have a few questions that I would like to address as this is my first build.
1. Will the system be able to run "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on Ultra/High settings at 60fps 1080p?
2. The motherboard chosen uses a B450 chipset. Does it support overclocking and will it be recommended to do so?
3. I'm also planning to double the system as a workstation, doing lots of CAD on Solidworks and wanting to get into Youtube and/or streaming. Will the following build be able to do these without struggling?
Here are the components I have decided on for now:
-CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X
-Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M
-Graphics: ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1060 o6g 6GB
-Memory: Corsair Vengeance LED 16GB (2x8gb) DDR4 (CMU16GX4M2C3000C15)
-Cooling: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB cooler
-SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD (Boot drive, games, software, etc.)
-HDD: 4TB WD Blue (Mass storage)
-PSU: Cooler Master MWE 650W
Total comes up to AU$1,774 (not including case).
Any changes that need to be made? Recommendations for better parts or places where I could get them cheaper? If needed to, I can go above $100 at most but would prefer not to go over a total of $2000.
