SUM 515$. And few tips. To gain the whole power from A8 GPU, overclock your RAM at 1700-1800 MHz. Vengeance are ideal overclockers, so you can go up to 1700 MHz at stock voltage & timings. If you have a file server, leave the 1TB HDD and get a small SSD.

That shouldn't be too hard to manage. Maybe try this:

AMD Athlon II x4 640 - $99.99
G.Skill NS 2x2GB 1333Mhz - £25.99
MSI NF725GM-P31 - $48.99
XFX HD 5670 - $79.99 - $10 rebate
Corsair CX-430 430W - $44.99 - $10 rebate
Seagate Barracuda 500GB - £39.99
Rosewill Challenger - $49.99
LG DVD Burner - $18.99

$508.91 before shipping and $20 rebates.

Decent quad core system that will easily cope with light gaming. Got the blue LED too :)

Ok so youre definitely going to want to cut some costs to fit a bluray burner in there. Hows this?

AMD Phenom II x3 720
4GB G.Skill NS
ASUS GT 430
Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Xigmatek Asgard II (No blue fan but you can just buy one if you want it.)
MSI NF725GM-P31
Seasonic 300W
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
LG Blu ray Burner
Rosewill 120mm Blue LED fan

$503.90 before shipping and $20 rebate.

This one covers all the bases, plenty for web browsing etc., 3d capable GPU and should handle some light gaming. Also has the Blu Ray Burner and the blue LED.

EDIT: Typo, sorry :p
