System:

EVGA Classified Motherboard
G-Skill Trident Z5 DDR5-6000 2x 16 GB
Intel i7 12700KF
EVGA 3080 FTW3 ultra
WD Black M.2 1 TB
Noctua NH-D15S Cooler
Corsair HX1000i PSU
Lian Li Case

System hangs at A2/A6/A9.
I have reseated the GPU, replaced the GPU with a ROG 2080, removed RAM, reseated CPU, replugged power cables, updated BIOS, used Display Port monitor, HDMI monitor, removed motherboard to table top (wooden)...
I am at a loss... what do I try next?

Thanks in advance to anyone!

you could start with those codes
a2/a6 = your drive (wd black)
a9 is just bios setup, it shouldnt mean anything

so remove your wd black drive and see if system still hangs

Did that - no change... I will try again though as I don't recall if I changed anything else since I tried that...

Pulled the M.2 and got a 26 code...

what about first and third slot?

youre getting a6 without drive connected, right?

That's correct. The drive is currently in this computer so that I could format it... thinking it may help.

I will try first and third slots...

Interesting... first slot - Went to BIOS setup! Third slot cycles 7F - 07 - 00 - 28 - 26 - 04 - 7F
