New system maintenance

hi all so I have finished building my new system for gaming but I want to keep it performing great and working well. So I downloaded the free version of AVG and got AVG tune up and 1 click maintenance but they are free and have run out now. Can anyone recommend me any programs such as anti virus programs and scanners to keep my pc running at its best. Or anything I can do on my pc already without downloading anything.

You can use avast! or AVG's free antivirus, they're good. For scanning junk files, there's CCleaner. For defragging your hard drive, there's Auslogics Disk Defrag. I wouldn't be running programs like TuneUp Utilities on my computer because it is 100% adware, and constantly run in the background. I don't want to see a popup every 5 minutes of "buy now clean more"..
