Hello,

To keep this short, in 2011 i posted a build here and received great feedback from friendly people, now I'm looking to build a new system and I'd ask any notes i might have missed. My main interest is "future proofing" as my old PC still runs great, but cant handle newer gaming, so I'm looking to build something to hopefully last the next 8-10 years with minor upgrades. Right now my main interest is on Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty game play.

Thank everyone in advance for any pointers.

FAN- be quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black (BK007), 150W TDP, CPU Cooler, Intel-1700/1200/2066/1150/1151/1155/2011(-3) Square ILM, AMD-AM4 for Desktop

OS- Microsoft System Builder | Windоws 11 Home | Intended use for new systems

Not a requirement, but could pick something more powerful than the Pure Rock 2.

Nothing inherently bad about it, but it's just a run-of-the-mill 4 heatpipe 120mm tower cooler. Could consider a single tower 140mm cooler, or a dual tower 120mm cooler. Would/could reduce noise at the very least.

Just a couple suggestions, not comprehensive.
I quite like the Deepcool AS500 (regular, not plus) for $45, but it's frequently out of stock or not at MSRP.

"future proofing" is a chimera.
Who knows what you will be using a pc for past say 2 years out.

The list you posted is excellent.

I might have suggested a stronger twin tower air cooler which would add little to your cost.
