Current system Mb Ga b75M D3h, cpu Intel G640, 12 gb ddr3 ram, onboard video, case mini tower & psu. All new about 2015 Good system that will not run Win11.( No games on PC here) TPM seems to be very useful(if not critical ) function for security purposes.

So by 2024, I'll need to replace the system. I have looked at various MB specs and all appear to have poor QC, at least checking Amazon customer reviews and other reviews. Also looked at bare bones and laptop info's.

I'm in a quandry as to the best route to choose. Main use of pc is personal business- web browsing/email.

Not sure a laptop will be good choice for system backup- using external monitor and such. Current backup to 1 of 3 usb drives. Wifi available but not used for the computer currently.

Obviously, the Pc case is reusable, but the mb,cpu, mem and psu are aging.

Suggestion will be appreciated.

If web browsing/email is the only thing you do, then your current system will still be able to do that in 2024 also.
What was that about Windows 11 ? Do you absolutely need/want to migrate to windows 11 ?

If so then, when 2024 comes, get yourself a new pc. By then you'll be able to get newer/better/less expensive pc, than currently available.
If not gaming you might look at a prebuilt. But you could probably look into a b560 board, and maybe a cpu like the i5 11400. Those are 6 cores and should have hypertheading as well. Don’t forget an ssd drive. A combination similar to that would blow away your current pc.

Thank you I forgot to mention WD 500SSD, recently installed - it definitely whizzes!
