[SOLVED] New system, randomly started BSOD crashing.

So, i made a pc for a friend and after a while it started bsod crashing
specs:
cpu: r5 3600x
gpu: 2070 super
ssd: 970 evo plus
ram: dont remember exact model, can check.
mobo: b450 gaming plus asus

i get lots of different errors
like these:
irql not less or equal
attempt execute non-executable memory
kmode_exception_not_handled
and more.

here are the troubleshooting steps i took:
first of all, i updated the bios, then downgraded the bios.
I have 2 ram sticks in there, so i took 1 out, then took the other
then tried 2 different known working sticks, still crashed.
thought it might be the os, so i tried doing windows recovery, it crashed in the middle, so i tried a new working drive to check if maybe something on the ssd is corrupted, but even with a new os it crashed.
system still crashes in safe mode.

Im gonna put the ram in the 2 other slots, which i forgot to try before, other than that, I can try reseeding the cpu, maybe its not sitting good in the socket and the ram isn't stable or something, do you think that would help?

Hi siaan312,

I am sorry you have issues with the PC you made for your friend, can you try changing your PSU, maybe there is not enough power going into the PC,

I have a very similar issue.
I just bought a tomahawk B450 max and a ryzen 3600.
parts:
Kingston A2000 500Gb M.2
G.SKILL Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200 2x 8GB / F4-3200C16D-16GTZR


I get the same crashing errors.
irql not less or equal
attempt execute non-executable memory
kmode_exception_not_handled
and more.

Not 100% convinced about comptibility as the components are not found on MSI pages. G.Skill claims compatibility.
I sent a question to MSI on this to confirm.

I installed clean windows 2 times.
I updated the BIOS to the 7C02v36.zip and problems persist.
I get all RgB lights neat and clean an other wise all seems ok.
I ran verifyer and the sfc / scannow no errors reported.
updates there and there. What I haven't tried is tweaking the BIOS. For this some instructions would be good.
Someone suggested to toggle virtual cores off which is kind of not of a solution at least long term as you cut down your performance.

Hello kasperikorpinen and siaan312,

I found out that RGB has a big impact on PC Performance. Try disconnecting the RGB and run Windows for a while.
