Hi Everyone!

I'm trying to build a mid-tier gaming rig capable of 1440p with a budget of $1500 or so and do not need a monitor. I haven't built a system in about 5 years so I'm really out of the loop. My previous system was a GTX 970 and Intel CPU, but I'm open to trying AMD components. I am trying to build a mini-ITX build as I don't need or want a giant tower.

Approximate Purchase Date: end of November

Budget Range: $1500 or so

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: CPU, GPU, Memory, GPU cooler, case, PSU, NVME SSD x2, etc.

Do you need to buy OS:
No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com or amazon.com

Location: Seattle, WA

Parts Preferences: Open to suggestions

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: WQHD 1440p

Additional Comments: Looking for a mini-itx build as I don't need or want a giant tower.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I don't have a desktop PC and want to get back into FPS gaming.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This has a better GPU but no cooler for extreme overclocking. Just the stock cooler for mild overclocking...

Best performance you can get around that budget.
Small form factor but not mini-itx. Mini-itx is a big compromise on performance or have to spend lot over budget to get decent build.
