Hello there Tom's community.
I recently purchased a new HP system. Here are the specs.
* • Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
* • Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q8300 [2.5GHz, 4MB L2, 1333MHz FSB]
* • SAVE $30! 8GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM [4 DIMMs]
* • FREE UPGRADE! 640GB 7200 rpm SATA 3Gb/s hard drive from 500GB
* • Integrated graphics - Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 [VGA]
* • 23" Full HD Monitor
In addition to purchasing a graphics card (probably a ATI 4770), I want to utilize the 23" Monitor as a TV for my dorm room next year. I've never used much less purchased a TV Tuner before. As such, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing so I'm turning to you guys.
As a college student, I am on a tight budget, and would like a nice, cheap card. I prefer buying from Newegg but will consider alternative sources.
So, what card should I get?
