I am new to the world of PC building and have been researching for quite awhile. I am planning on building my first gaming rig sometime next month, and I'm wondering whether this build will be viable a year or so down the road. Or if I should just wait until later this year for newer hardware releases.

CPU Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler
Case Fans: 600T comes stock with 2 x 200mm front and top, with 120mm rear fan. side panel has 4 available slots for 120mm fans. which I would fill all slots with Rosewill RFA-120-K 120mm Case Fan. Thats alot of air. Would have the Side fans on the stock fan controller, and connect the 2 x 200mm and the 120 rear fan to a Scythe KM01-BK "KAZE MASTER" 5.25" Bay Fan Controller the extra controller on the Kaze Master could be used for a 120mm or smaller on the internal drive bays because I will be removing the top cage.

I would be upgrading to MSI Hawk GTX 560 Ti's in 2-way Sli soon after the initial build. Would also add a SSD for caching or boot drive later on. The reason for the 850W PSU is that it was the same price as one of the 750W by Corsair. I do plan on OC'ing the i5 and maybe the RAM. So not sure if I would be over doing it on the case fans. With the controllers I should be able to keep the noise level down and still have good air flow.

The total on Newegg was $1,437. But that also included my mouse and keyboard which would be the Logitech G110 keyboard and the Logitech G9x mouse.

Anyways, thank you to anyone who can give feedback. I really hope to get into the world of PC building on the right foot.

Doesnt mater what you build, merphies law is "As soon as you buy new hardware, the next gen will be released soon after"...ok may not exactly, but im sure you get my point lol .

Sweet build, loven the case.

IMHO If you could spare a few extra buck, Id bump up the video card if you could, even if that means saving for a extra week or so, say, AMD 6950, unless you plan on using physx, or go a GTX570.

If you always wait for the latest & greatest, you'll never buy anything. There is always something bigger, faster, cooler, etc. coming "real soon now".

If you need it now, buy it now. Otherwise, wait.
