My questions

1. do I need more fans??
2. how do I tell NCIX that I want 2 of the hard drives in RAID 1?? and the other one separate--so I can divvy up my business and personal stuff.
3. do these parts sound alright together??

Well it depends on what you need to do with it. Is it just for business or gaming? and if business what type of work do you use it for? What budget are we working within? Whats the resolution on the monitor you are planning to use? Also are you comfortable building it yourself? If so you can probably save a bit using newegg canada or something.

this comp needs to do both business and games (preferably something that will last for a few years--Fallout 3 + FPSs)

business will be mostly word documents spreadsheets and accounting software... nothing too intensive, however I need the RAID for backup--and the UPS just in case.

budget is too be around $2500 canadian (bit less is better)

resolution on the moniter is1920*1080... is that going to be good for games?? I know I had to get a fix program for BF2 which kinda sucks. does fallout have something like that or do it just auto-fix it.

I will likely have NCIX build it for me as I don't have time or knowledge.

btw if I went with the 920 i7 would that just be overkill for this stuff? should i then switch out the board?

Did anyone else see 1 major problem with this build. The CPU you listed will not work with the Mobo you have picked. You will need a 1366 chipset for an X58 Mobo.

On question 2, look at how I did did in NCIX PC Configurator below.
Western Digital WD1001FALS Caviar Black 1TB SATA2 7200RPM 4.2MS 32MB 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard Drive OEM $133 Western Digital RE3 RAID 500GB SATA2 7200RPM 16MB Cache NCQ 8.9MS Hard Drive OEM 5 Year MFR Warranty $218

Reason I suggested the WD RE3 500gb HDD's that they work better in Raid then the regular versions and if you want you could increase the size of the HDD's below.
Western Digital RE3 1TB 7200RPM SATA2 32MB Dual Proc 3.5IN Hard Drive OEM $192
$20.00 instant discount, valid from Jul 28, 2009 to Jul 08, 2009 , plus the cost would raise it up pass what you want to pay by another $124.

Also notice that you can request NCIX call you back on your order and or email them, that way you can tell them how you want the HDD's set-up on your order.

Would include this. Scythe Mugen 2 Heatpipe CPU Heatsink LGA1366 LGA775 Socket AM2 120MM $41

Price for build I just did using NCIX Configurator comes to $2705 cad by using the WD Raid HDD's, with Estimated Ship Date of July 21, 2009. Now if you do not think the Haf932 has enough cooling, your Best option would be to move up to the Antec 1200 case

Or just getting 2 Western Digital 7501AALS Caviar Black 750GB SATA2 7200RPM 4.2MS 32MB 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard Drive OEM $18.00 instant discount, valid from Jul 28, 2009 to Jul 02, 2009 $199 and using one as main drive and other as backup drive your costs then would be $2553.

Hope this helped you out some.

yes this helped very much yoosty. I've put in the 920 i7. thanks for the HD suggestions. I think then I'll go with the WD RE3 500s in RAID and use the caviar black for my non business drive.

I likely will go with the heatsink as you've suggested.... my comp runs in a pretty hot place in my apartment and I dont really want to take any chances.

one other thing... does anybody know if my Samsung ML-2150 will work in 64bit Vista??? i love this printer and dont want to upgrade.

thanks again all.
