CPU - E8600 or Q9550
Ram - 4 or 6 gb (dont know what brand is good)
Video Card - GTX260 or gtx275
HDD - 1TB (dont know what is good)
sony dvdrw
i need extra help on PSU and cooling parts plz!

Hello and welcome to the forums mate :)
For motherboard well go for ASUS P5Q/P5Q Pro instead and go for a DDR2 RAM since the difference between DDR2 and DDR3 isn't much.
Brands like OCZ,CRUCIAL,CORSAIR... are good,a 2x2GB DDR2 800 RAM with 4-4-4-x timings would do the job perfectly :)
For CPU,it depends on what u do mainly,i would go for Q9550 and OC it,because u can OC a Quad Core 90% of times to a great speed but u can't add cores to a dual core CPU.
For VIDEO go for GTX 275 or ATI HD 4890 both are good cards.
For HDD,brands like Western Digital,seagate.... are good.
For PSU,go for Corsair 650W or OCZ GAMEXSTREAM 600W.
For cooling,it depends on if u want to OC or not

cool thx
so i dont need extra cooling if im not OCing???
wat are the differ of the timings of the ram, does it make a big differ??
is that a good enuf build for a mid range?

1_No u don't need extra cooling if u don't want to OC.
2_No it won't make a noticeable difference,timings/MHZ are mostly important when u want to OC,as helloword_98 stated lower timings are better but since u don't want to OC then it doesn't matter much.
3_Yes it looks pretty good :)
