Im currently fancying the cheapo (651,39 €) Core i5-2500K build... but i would like to hear any input from the forum...
The prices are pulled from http://www.alternate.es/ being the major spain´s online components and custom built system distributor (and about the cheapest computer parts store), qhich is a contraint since i dont like to have customer´s support from another country if anything goes wrong.

also i would need help with the power supply selection, i just guessed but dont really know what power needs would each system have and also dont know anything abouth the quality of the psus (and they all look damn expensive to me)...

if anyone would be so kind of taking a look at this list of PSUs and advicing me it would be nice...

Budget Range: 450 to 800 € (stores in spain font know about Rebates)


System Usage from Most to Least Important: home siystem, gaming.


Parts Not Required: dvd writer, keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS


Preferred Website(s) for Parts: alternate.es , efecto2000.com , any spanish shop with physical presence.


Country of Origin: Spain


Parts Preferences: core i5-2500K if i were to overclock, core i3-21xx if i wasnt.


Overclocking: Maybe


SLI or Crossfire: No, i wouldnt like to spend more than what a Geforce 560 / Radeon 6850 costs...


Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050 or 1920x1080


Additional Comments: I would like a (relatively) quiet PC (who wouldnt)

1. which radeon 6850 to pick that could be flashed to 6950?.
2. when does ivy bridge launches? should i wait for the equivalent 2500K on ivy bridge?
