New to Building PCs - need help for component selection

Since it's Black Friday and nearly Cyber Monday, I wanted to build a PC since I've been a light gamer for the past 2-3 years. I've always been buying PCs that weren't exactly meant for gaming since I didn't play that much. Recently, I've noticed that I'd like to build my own since it's significantly cheaper rather than buying a new one because mine has been running slower in FPS over the years.
I frequently play League of Legends (fps has been unstable from 40-100) and Maplestory 2, but I'd like to run Blade and Soul more smoother as well as Ring of Elysium since they both frequently crash.
I'm new to building so I honestly have no idea where to start off. I'd like something that can run all of the above games fairly well at 60FPS while being able to stream videos. I may plan on streaming, but nothing too serious. I also usually have 20-30 tabs open, don't shut down my computer often, and I'm usually in Discord calls, but I'm not sure if this affects anything.
My budget is $800 and it'd be great if it was under $500. I'm able to go a little over my budget if needed!
Thank you.

you're going to have to max that $800 budget if you want to stream.

and yes, having a million effing tabs open sucks up a lot of resources from your hardware. and discord uses a bit as well.

Are you trying to play games while having all those tabs open?
You shouldn't be running any other program besides the game when gaming.
and depending on your hardware, you could run discord at the same time or not.

But here's your new PC. (assuming you live in america. if you don't live in america, then the choice of components may need to be changed.)

alternatively, if you took the HDD out of your current dekstop and used it in your new build, you could swap the 2TB I put in there with an SSD for your OS and main apps and then wipe the HDD you have and use it for all your games

unfortunately, I have a bad habit of having multiple tabs open. if I were to have 2-3 tabs constantly open and I wouldn't stream, would that change anything in the build?
