New to building

Howzit Im the new dude
Ive never posted here before but Ive read through a few things on this website.

Anyway, this is going to be my first build so I want to check I have every thing in order.
I want this machine to run most games, which Im sure it will, but mostly I want it to run flight simulator x well or kinda well.

Heres what Im putting together:

(CPU) AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition - 2.80 GHz

(MotherBoard) Asus M4N78 with EPU-4

(RAM) Kingston ValueRam Memory - DDR2-800MHz - 2GB

(Graphics) TwinTech nVidia Geforce 9600GT 512MB

(Hard Drive) Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 Sata 3Gb/s 320GB 16-MB Cache

(PSU) Antec Basiq BP550 Plus Power Supply - 550w

I already have a chassis with a dvd drive.
The other CPU im looking at is an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition. It costs a lot more then the 720 but how much more powerful is it. Is it worth the extra money?

Those specs should run about any game on high settings fine. If you havet he moeny for it tho go for the quad.

go for some 1066 ddr2 memory, 4 gigs if you can stretch that budget.
Also, that 550 watt power supply doesn't really leave room for crossfire or sli, antec has some nice 650 watts, so does corsair.

For it to Run FSX well you should go with the PII 955, as well as a more powerful GPU.
