Just as long as it's back-lit and under £50 or $70.

If you know of any low-profile, mechanical keyboards (like the Cherry MX-Board 3.0 G80-3850) that would be ideal.

Solution
Here are few more keyboards with palm rest. I'd preferred K90 or Storm Trigger.

Logitech G710 PLUS
Corsair Vengeance K90
SteelSeries 7G
CM Storm Trigger

No, I'm not bothered about backlighting.

Best Mechanical Gaming
Keyboard→Razer BlackWidow($54.99)

Best Wireless Gaming
Keyboard→Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800($100)

Best Gaming Keyboard Overall→Logitech G710 Plus($130)

For your $70 budget get the Razer BlackWidow and save some bucks or if you care about back-lighting then you have to increase your budget to get Logitech K800 for $100

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll have a look at some reviews for them.

I did find this keyboard by Cherry that has the MX Red switches in them and also has low profile keys.

I realize now that if I want a mechanical keyboard that is made for gaming I'm going to have to spend quite a bit of money.

There is also a palm-rest that can be bought separately for this particular keyboard that will put the price up to around £75/$125. Is there a better keyboard out there for around the same price that already has a palm-rest?

I would prefer a wired keyboard over a wireless one and, like I said earlier, I'm not bothered about back-lighting anymore. I can live without it.

Also, I'm not bothered about any macro keys either. I'm more of a 'meat and potatoes' gamer, anyway.

I'm seriously considering getting one of the Corsair Vengeance keyboards. Since I don't need the macro keys I'd probably go for the K70 because it's cheaper.

I was considering the CM Storm Trigger but it's more expensive than the K70 on Amazon UK. The K70 has an aluminium chassis and has a better palm-rest which I prefer.

The K70 is also a pretty relaxing keyboard haha.
