So im new to Overclocking and my core clock is at +450 and running kombustor I see NO artifacts. I ran it for a few seconds and I was at a cool 30 C. Is this safe for my GPU? Should I go further? What is happening!!!

Solution
Id recommend reading a few overclocking guides and coming back with a slightly slower approach, +450 to the core is a massive clock and i doubt will be stable. stress testing should be run for a minimum of 30 mins, and you should use more than one program. Read a few guides and see what others have achieved with your particular card.

Let it run for longer, it will probably start to artifact as it warms up. Or maybe it won't. It either case, I wouldn't go any higher until I saw how it behaved after at least 30 minutes. Sometimes you can really overclock the bejesus out of lightweight GPUs, so I would keep pushing to see how high it can go.
