new to pc building. decent build?

Don't get 16GB if it is only for gaming. You would be fine with 8GB. Also get 1.5V ram, it is a better quality.
Don't get a Kingston, SSDNow V300, they use cheap flash memory and doesn't really meet the speed they advertise.
You don;t really need a sound card, the onboard sound is enough.
You don;t really need a erther PCI card, the motherboard already has one.
This motherboard would be better for overclocking than the one you chose:

There is alot of waste in that, no offense man. I put on a regular Caviar Blue WD drive (7200 RPM same speed as black drive), and a 250 gig ssd. I switched the motherboard to an Asrock Extreme 4 which is a much better motherboard. Then I switched the ram to some low profile Corsair ram, and 8 gigs will plenty enough. Next, I switched out the gpu. I put on the 280x which is in the same league as the 770, but 50 bucks cheaper and 1 more gig of ram. Then I switched out the PSU. The XFX is going to be overkill on this, but for 99 bucks for a 750 watt fully modular 80+ gold psu isn't too shabby for 99 bucks. Finally the case. A full tower case is not needed for this build. I recommend the Corsair 400R which offers tons of room for expansion, and offers fantastic cable management, and up to 8 additional fans. Also, the keyboard and mouse. I really love the CM Storm Devastator keyboard, fully back lit for 29 bucks and is fantastic. The mouse on it is crap, but I recommend this Anker mouse over the one you had:

Also as stated by suztera, you don't need that PCI expansion card for networking, the motherboard has one.

yea thats why i said i didnt know much i kinda threw some stuff together because i looked a lot and there is so many different suggestions from everyone. But thank you all very much for the help.

No problem. I'd say go for the one I linked. It's a fantastic system!
