hi, I'm new to pc building, I've made PCs from components that are available to me, but I've never chosen my own components so I was hoping to get a bit of feedback and help,
here is the build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/H2ftzy

the PSU will probably be an Ace Black 600W Power Supply (i was unable to find it on pcpartpicker) is this ok or is it too high?
I'm also torn between the 2GB and 4GB versions of the GTW 960, any recommendations? I'd be using 2 screens max
the cases I've been looking at only seem to have 1 fan, would that be enough or would I need a case that can have multiple fans?
the processor comes with a fan+heatsink as far as I'm aware, would I need extra cooling?
I'm also considering getting an SSD to put the OS on for faster booting etc, would that be worth it?

the pc is going to be for gaming and some virtualisation

thanks in advance for any help :)

So, starting with the cpu, i'ts ok but you should get something better like a FX 8320 or a FX 6300. GTX 960 is a great card, so i think you should go for it. If you got the money, then go for the 4Gb version but you will do well with 2gb's. If you want to save some money i think you should drop the 16gb ram to 8gb's if you want to. For the case cooling, you should atleast have one fan in the front and one fan in the back. Also if you are going to do some overclocking and overall you should get a aftermarket CPU cooler if you have the extra 30dollars. It will give you a much cooler and quieter gaming experience. I would suggest something like the Cooler master hyper 212 Evo. SSD is a great thing to have, but its not neccessary. Overall the build is looking solid. And yeah the PSU is more then enough for this system, althought i dont know if thats a good quality PSU tho.

ok, so dropping the ram to 8-10gb or so, any recommendations on a decent case? full size ATX case or mATX sized? I'd imagine a full size one would help with air circulation if I got a CPU cooler?

I would go for ATX because it has more room and of course better air circulation as you said. The corsair/coolermaster ones sre very good, but there is alot of other very good case manufacturers there. (Like NXT,bitfenix, fractal design).

thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it, I've tweaked the build a bit,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2WF2Jx how's this looking? it'll be going in an AvP Viper Gaming Black Mini Tower Case
the SSD will be pretty much purely for the OS
I don't think I'm missing anything right?
apparently I could get away with a 400w PSU, so I may look for a better quality 400W one

It's hard to keep track of this, first buikd was U.S.,now one that is U.K.

If looking UK would the next do fine for a psu,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/be-quiet-power-supply-bn222%2Cxfx-power-supply-p1450sx2b9%2Cxfx-power-supply-p1550gts3x/
the XFX would be a fine choice, but if you're not overclocking should 400watt be fine.

With ram for compatibility reasons should you best buy a set of two sticks.Using sticks of different size doesn't make it better.

For not a lot more,

the psu is part of the price too here.
A decent case for this,

yeah, didn't realise the first one was US, I'll drop the RAM to 8GB and look into the Be Quiet PSU series and the other things you linked on the pcpartpicker
thanks :)
