Alright gang!

Hoping to get a bit of help if possible around a certain spec I need for a gaming PC, and from certain PCs I have found what the spec looks like to some experts. I have found the following spec, see below:

Specs:

  • Case: Corsair Carbide Series 275R Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX
  • Fans: 3 Corsair ML120 PRO 120mm
  • PSU: Corsair RM750i 80 PLUS Gold 750W Fully Modular
  • Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A
  • CPU: Intel Core i7- 8700K
  • Liquid Cooling: Corsair iCUE H115i PRO
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB DDR4 3200MHz C16
  • SSD: Samsung 970 PRO M.2 512GB NVMe + Samsung 970 EVO M.2 500GB NVMe
  • HDD: 2TB Seagate FireCuda SSHD ST2000DX002 Sata III 64MB + 8GB Flash 40

Windows 10 Pro license already installed in the motherboard.

It does state the GPU isn’t included, and from some research carried out believe AMD Radeon rx 5700 to be best value for money to add into the PC. However looking to understand if this would be compatible and if there is anything else I should look out for. The above spec is a second hand PC, so again with the cost of that and the GPU this would come to approx 1100.00, and if this would be an average deal or be better off purchasing a brand new PC.

Any help I’d appreciated, and happy to jump into a discord call to discuss it if easier!

Live in south west England, close to oxford.
Ideally didnt want to spend more than about 1200 if I can, but want something to last me as long as it can whilst being good enough to run games like Halo/Warzone/Apex etc
This will run all those games. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hWFrJf
Left the case up to you. Btw the 6600xt basically matches the 3060 in performance. Just doesn't have some things Nvidia cards have.
