alright guys well ive wanted a solid state drive for a while and then i ran across a 32 gb sata II for $40 on sale. i was thinking about getting it but then 32 gb isnt much. i dont game just would like for windows and a couple applications like photoshop and autocad to open a little quicker. would that be enough or should i spend $80 bucks and get a 64 gb sata III. i dont wanna buy to much space and not end up using alot of it. and ive heard if you store lots of stuff on a ssd then it kinda slows it down.

Good to read you are going with a slightly larger capacity ssd.

Microsoft Windows 7 Pro 64 with all the updates, patches, and fixes takes up a little over 20GB on my ssd. By the time I added Adobe products, other software, and utilities I wound up using a little over 30GB. It is now a couple of months later and I am up to 36GB. That's without any games.
