Hey guys my name is Anthony and i am a complete noob to this watercooling setup.
I recently built an Antec 1200 build with:
Intel e8400 CPU
4 GB of Memory
a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard
an Sapphire Radeon 4870 512mb Video card
a Corsair 750w power supply
I've used an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for cooling my cpu and stock antec fans for everything else.
I've been running it now for 3 weeks to a month and its very good but i feel like im ready to jump on the watercooling bandwagon and build a new system.
I've planned on using a Cosmos S case since i heard its really good with water cooling setups and i've upgraded some of my parts:
an intel e8500 cpu
6-8 GB of memory
same motherboard
i will either go with an 1GB 4870 GPU or go with an NVIDIA GTX260 video card
a corsair 1000w modular power supply.
I want your best advice on a new water cooling setup that would cool the cpu and gpu adequately. I don't really believe in overclocking unless i have an i7, which i won't for another year. I would prefer a WC setup with minimal maintenance but high performance. I heard if you have a closed loop system you won't need to refill very often. I don't really want to keep buying coolant.
Money is not an issue with this setup but i would really want to keep all the parts for the water cooling setup under $450. If i'll have to pay more i don' t think it would be really feasible.
I would appreciate if you guys can make a list for me with all the reccomended parts for this setup, i know you need water blocks and a pump, but thats all i really know lol.
thanks for your help.
