Question New ubiquiti AP vs old ubiquiti AP

So I have been running a couple of ac lr I think they are called since about 2019. I just got a 6 LR to try to fill a gap in the wifi. Holy crap are they different. I might be exaggerating a little bit, but... I just opened the new AP up and...it must be twice the size and four times the weight.

Can anyone speak to this? I keep opening the box and trying to figure out if they sent the wrong thing.

I am not a fan of the LR units for interior home use. The "long range" designation gives a false impression, IMO. You need to turn DOWN the transmit power on the units when you have multiple APs.

Even the attachment plates went from plastic wafer to drum brakes...
