To give some info here.
I'm using a desktop computer running windows 10, ryzen 7 1700x 32 gigs of ram and an rtx 2070 super.
Its a decent build and for the most part works perfectly fine. The issue is new usb devices don't work on it.
By that I mean other than specific usb devices I've used for a while, keyboard mouse, a hub etc all work fine with it. However if I try to use a new usb headset I got, it will briefly recognize it, then corrupt and say the device is unrecognizable in the device manager. This will happen with USB drives as well. Ive tried two different motherboards, and still no luck. It doesn't matter if case usbs are used or motherboards. It doesn't matter if its plugged into the hub or not either. Completely disconnecting the case usb ports doesn't work either. The devices work on my laptop and other ryzen build.
Any help at all?

Edit: current mobo GIGABYTE B450 AORUS ELITE
