Specs
MB: gigabyte GA- a320ms2h rev 1.1 (not v2) running F52 bios
CPU old: ryzen 3 2200g
CPU new: ryzen 5 2600 (can't boot windows)
GPU: rx 580 power color red devil 8gb vram
Ram: corsair vengeance rgb 16gb 3200 ran at 2133mhz (too scared to change it)
PSU: atng 600w
I got a used ryzen 5 2600 in order to be a short term upgrade and it has been nothing short of a nightmare for me.
Every time I put it in I can't boot windows, it just gives me bsods. The two I get more than any are system_thread_exception_not_handled
& Irql_not_less_or_equal
It will bring me to the sign in page but immediately after I sign in, bam blue screen. Sometimes it will let me in for a split second and then bam blue screen. I'm absolutely at wit's end, does this sound like a bricked CPU? Does it sound like a motherboard or power issue? Does it sound like a driver issue?
I've had my computer science buddy try a ton of different things.
