Hi everyone. New user here, frequent viewer however!

I have been having issues with my new PC build and was hoping anyone would know a solution to these rather irritating issues. This was my first complete gaming build and I researched my hardware to make the best "Bang for buck" setup I could. :) Here are the hardware specs;

Gigabyte GA AB350-Gaming 3 AM4
AMD Ryzen 3 1300x Quad-Core Processor 3.50Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Esports expedition GDDR5 OC
Corsair 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Vengeance LPX DIMM
Western Digital Black HDD 1TB
Sandisk 120GB SSD
Thermaltake 500w PSU
Windows 10 Pro x64 bit

AOC 24" 60hz Monitor [for details sake] [1920x1080]
_____________________________

The range of issues I have been experiencing;
Screen giving off black flickering - [This is a big one, even on desktop]
Games regularly freezing and crashing [This ranges from CS:GO being unplayable to Fallout New Vegas running with FPS drops]
CS:GO will freeze and studder until it stops responding, resulting in a hard restart.
Runescape on full-screen will studder with audio, graphics and give off a black flicker constantly
Any game freezing will result in entire system freeze with CPU spiking to 100% via task manager monitor.

I have gone through hours of researching on forums and solutions, ranging from updating and/or rolling back graphics drivers. A clean system restore and OS restore. Changing Nvidia's Physx options, BIOS update, changing anti virus settings, low detail games and high demand games experience the same thing. I had doubt in the build itself, is this system compatible with itself? I had the GPU replaced on a faulty card suspicion, to no avail.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Before I go and buy a new MOBO and CPU out of suspicion of incompatibility.

Thanks all,
Pete.

Solution
Possibility:
1. GPU is lemon
2. MB is lemon
Can you borrow some friend's similar gpu to test? Cheaper ones are fine. Or ask them to try your gpu.

Hi Vapour, thanks for the response.

The PSU came with the case, so I will test another PSU and come back with the result. What do you think would most suit this build, a 650W maybe.

Thanks mate.

with your build make sure the mb has the newest bios. from lookign at your parts you went cheap on the power supply. i would try another test unit or if your in the return date for it return it as doa and get a seasonic 520/620 w unit. or a unnit that a beter tier unit then the one you have.

Hi guys, apologies for the delayed response. I have replaced the PSU with a Seasonic G Series 550w 80 Gold unit. This has not resolved the issue and am still experiencing the same issues unfortunately. I have also ran a memory diagnostic check with no reported issues. This is a head scratcher..
