New video card choices.

Hey everyone I just built a new PC as follows
Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z97 mobo
i5 4670K
16 gb g.skill ram
620w PSU Antec Bronze rated

I want a video card that can keep up with BF4 and the like and I'm not sure which way to go.
I like the Nvidia cards but Im not opposed to an AMD card.
Is it worth it to wait for the GTX 8xx or just stay with the current stuff? and is a 4 gb 770 worth the extra $80 or so than the 2gb model? or would using SLi on a couple older gen cards be more benificial to my gaming and pocketbook?
Id love to hear your opinions

Assuming you have a good PSU (by the wattage, I'm guessing SeaSonic?), and assuming you're playing at 1080p, the 2GB version of the 770 is more than enough.

Its an Antec, Bronze rated. Im not opposed to returning it and bumping up to a 750 if it doesn't have enough power. The reviews I read said it was a pretty solid psu though.

I would get the 4GB version just in case. You never know when a new game may need it.

The GTX 770 isn't meant to max out games, and shouldn't really be playing with a bunch of eye candy enabled. Eye candy = need for more VRAM. And especially seeing as games are getting more graphically intense, using AA and whatnot would likely cripple your performance in these future games.

I game at 1920x1080 resolution, and my 2GB video memory is plenty for that. You would only need to consider 4GB if you are gaming at higher resolutions or using dual monitors, otherwise the extra memory will be useless.

As far as what card to go for, I'd also vote for the 2GB GTX 770 as a single card solution right now. Easily powerful enough to run everything that I have on my PC (GTA 4, Crysis 3, Battlefield 3), and with a single monitor at 1080P.

The good thing about the GTX 800 series is that it is actually supposed to be improved architecture built on a smaller die, whereas the 700 series borrows the same architecture as the 600 series before it. That being said, 770 offers tremendous performance, and once again, you will be satisfied with it if you are running a single monitor/1080P setup.
