New WD 1TB HARD DRIVE STUCK AT BIOS SCREEN

Ok so today i just got my brand new 1 tb wd green hard drive delivered. after plugging it in, it stuck at the asus bios screen. so i unplugged it again it would again boot normally. OS is in my primary seagate 500gb HDD. After installing the hdd again , it was stuck at the asus bios screen again , it will just

Detecting sata_3g

and it is stuck there.

Please help me out on this guys.

Do you have other computer to test the HDD? If you got the same in other computer, the HDD is DOA. RMA it.

Unfortunately i dont have another computer to test the Hard Drive. I saved my pocket money for 3 months now it turned out be faulty one. when i plug out this new hdd everything runs just fine. OS is in the primary hdd. Just after installing the new hdd its stuck at asus boot logo again

Because look like the new HDD is dead, but I just want to make sure that, that why I let you try the HDD in other computer.

does the BIOS see the WD drive?

what OS?

is Secure Boot enabled in the BIOS?

i dont know how to enable secure boot. i plug in the sata cable from the hdd to the mobo. and the psu sata sata connector too. then when i reboot its stuck at the asus bios logo screen. os win 7 home premium x64
