NEW WD BLUE Spin up time increased

This is not critical, but my hdd's spin up time increased from 1.2s to 1.4s since i started using it.
Maybe this is because I started filling it up with data in the last days.
I also heard a weird beep coming from the laptop, but the hdd is in a perfect status and doesn't show any symptoms of failing.

EDIT: Also Windows 7 has been freezing sometimes and mostly when I turn it on back from sleep which requires a hard reboot.
I also found this error in the event manager which turned out to be a cause for windows hangs for a lot of people when I looked it up.

Is this a new hard-drive ?
what make and model of laptop are you running ?

yup it's a new one, 500gb only used for 1 week
and i have a dell latitude e5520

I would look into the seek time, not the spin up time, as there is no specification given on that, and its based on RPM speedas anyways... 1.2s and 1.4s @ 5400rpm speed before first read isn't an issue. have you dont a test of the hard drive read/write?

no seek errors found, i'll do a read/write edit as you said.
