Question New Win 11 FTP Connecting issues

SOLVED- seems user name is case sensitive


My website I have been FTP'g for years with no issues using mostly Core FTP but any client works with 10 or lower. Two new Lenovo Legion 5 win 11 laptops can't connect no matter what I try.
Tried with saving and not saving passswords, tried turning off firewall. VERY carefully checking passwords all to no avail
I go to either of the older win 10 laptops and log on without issue either typing pwd or using saved pwd.
Talking to site host TS and they are stumped so far
When I setup laptops I turned off all the tracking options except the last one for anonymous performance reporting

Below is the error message from Core FTP attempt to log on

220-You are user number 1 of 50 allowed.
220-Local time is now 15:01. Server port: 21.
220-This is a private system - No anonymous login
220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server.
220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.

331 User Kitails OK. Password required
PASS **
530 Login authentication failed

Go back and turn on all of the tracking options. Determine if the password works and if you can successfully log in again.

If so, then start turning off all of the tracking options one by one. Be methodical and allow time between turning each one off.

You may discover which tracking option is causing the login failures. Could be a combination of the tracking options.

Do that on just one of the laptops and use the other as a reference.
