New Windows 10 after switch motherboards necessary?

I am thinking about switching out my motherboard to get a new CPU. My question is if I can use the digital license thing on Windows 10 to get it onto the new motherboard. Any help would be appreciated.

It should transfer over. You may need to call Microsoft to get approval.
